Artist's Statement :

The concept that I started to work on is the common psychological disorders of people, such as jealousy, arrogance, gossip, selfishness, anger etc., which are the inner activities that go on in the human brain. I call these “common psychological disorders'' because they are present in every person, high in some people and low in others. If any one of these adjectives grows in a person’s thinking, there is a possibility that the common man can do any kind of crime.
I work on this subject because, since childhood, I have a hobby of noticing the behaviours of my friends, my relatives and people around me. I try to analyse them. Even when I travel, like on a train, I notice consciously and subconsciously the behaviour of the people around me.
From 3rd year onwards, I started to work on the psychological changes which I noticed mainly in my family members, classmates, neighbours and myself. Each of us is a different character, and I wanted to show in my works the diversity of those characters.
