The impermanence in nature fascinates me. I maintained a natural history observation as part of my art practice. My studio became my museum. I collect footprints of animals and birds to talk about a memory I shared, to talk about co-existence, to build stories and to bring familiar imagery. What started as a cathartic activity soon became a great learning experience. Activities in the environment human-animal conflict, roadkill appear in my work.
