Artist's Statement :

I paint the things from my surroundings and join those elements together. It can be human, animals or other natural objects. Since I always like to visually study nature I am generally aware about things, especially the trees and plants. The more you study nature, the more abstract it becomes. Perhaps that is because our thoughts and concepts give a particular picture or form for that abstraction sensed from nature. Thus I develop different forms according to my viewpoint. My main concern was how the natural forces make gradual changes in organic forms. I have been experimenting. I tried to find dyes and fibres that come from nature and use them to be more in tune with nature. The pandemic has forced everyone into a state of introspection due to isolation. In that situation I went through mental stress. I shifted my thoughts to the canvas and titled distorted mind. Art making and viewing art allows us to process our experiences. Through art, we feel deep emotions together and are able to process experiences, find connections, and create impact.Creation/birth is a phenomenon that happens every second on earth. The work titled “the Formation” embraces the truth and beauty of being female; the place of creation, where life is both fertilized and delivered in the natural world.  Positive interactions occur when humans interact with nature in a beneficial way. The central agent of eroticism is the human imagination. Erotic intimacy is an act of generosity and self-centeredness, of giving and taking. I think the body is the purest, most primal tool we have for communicating.
