Artist's Statement :

I believe I have seen various elements of nature since I was a child but I never planned to create anything with them, and l used to witness different forms and shape depending on emotions, and change colours. My stint in art college learning about textile arts and the abstract elements of art in nature inspired me to plan my work. I have created my works and ideas in terms of various textures, forms and patterns using mediums and materials such as dyes, fabric, yarn, and weaving etc. From nature we get a wealth of colours in different shapes and sizes and I have illustrated this in my work with different types of geometric patterns and shapes. This allows me to visualize my thoughts and plans in a realistic way.t lines, shapes, textures, etc in each of my art work, I express my thoughts, desires, pleasures, and different ideas of my mind. Later, I execute them using different textile methods such as weaving, printing, dying, stitching, applique, mixed media to make it more practical.During the pandemic, I only found different geometric patterns and shapes in everything. I incorporated that into my practice.
