Artist's Statement :

I am a visual artist working mainly with printmaking medium, painting and illustrations to come up with my visual language in front of my viewers. My thoughts are based on how society is changing and being a part of the millennial generation I can witness it from within. Through my works I try to present the main components contributing to this change. These rapid, random unseen processes of advancements all around attracts my attention and causes waves of questions in my mind. Where is this leading us to? This empty dark future makes me generate my visual language where I can transfer this excitement of never ending fast paced change all-around to artworks with a lot of surprise elements.
As a visual artist my dreams play a huge role in my art practise. As an individual my dreams get affected and influenced by my daily experiences, social and personal life. The new world of mine exposes the truths of the modern era, unfolding its complexities thus giving it a new identity. My subconscious mind makes me create artworks which are like visual notes of experiences and are a rendition of my dream sequence talking about reality. The works have an illustrative character, I even incorporate words or sometimes phrases to give the viewers a direction to a certain extent. My ways of expressing myself also go into making graphic strips and novels. The mini graphic strip ‘God’ is a snap episode questioning the existence of the celestial creator and having an awareness message hidden in it. Each frame is hand drawn and digitally coloured. I have tried to portray that experience of my subconscious sight and kept it short to retain its dream-like character. Each panel is a visual representation of the places existing in my neural network.
My visual style is continuously evolving and I am working on it to understand myself better and finding new paths to play with my thoughts.
