Artist's Statement :

I am the son of a farming family. All my work is in the smell and colour of the soil. I have no difficulty in realizing the radical changes that are taking place in nature. When we were young, many kinds of vegetables were grown in our farmland. We did not cultivate them, they grew on their own, and they used to make the land green. Now those vegetables do not grow anymore, the land does not see dense green. It is not cultivated twice a year like then. Even if it is cultivated once in any way, it is not fertilized without chemical fertilizer.
The structure of the soil has also undergone radical changes. When I was plowing my grandfather's land in my childhood, fertile soil would come up layer by layer. Numerous earthworms used to come up with him. Now when you plow, the earthworm does not come out. Instead, plastic waste used in people's daily work comes out of the ground.
The main reason for these changes is the rapid growth of industrial products as civilization progresses. 99% of the things we use in our daily lives are industrial products. Which in many ways is constantly mixing with the ecosystem. As a result, there is a constant clash of industrial products or plastic wastes with animals, plants and other things in our environment. In the beginning it was an invisible battle, but now it is invisible. This war is easy to see when you look around nature. Fields, farms, water bodies on the horizon, plastic waste lining can be seen above all. No part was left out, whether it was water or water. In fact, much of the world's surface has been covered by these materials. As a result, the climate has changed drastically.
On the one hand, nature is fighting to protect itself, on the other hand, industrial products or plastic wastes are fighting to destroy nature by exploiting human unconsciousness. The result is predictable, nature will lose if people are not aware. Human civilization will be destroyed. The ecosystem will be destroyed. However, if people become aware, the victory of nature is inevitable. Simply put, it is possible to save nature.
